The field of psychology in general (with few notable exceptions) is hereby nominated for the Net4TruthUSA "Gnarly Crapper Award". If you have been around this web site, you'll know that I'm not too fond of "shrinks" - to say the least... However, I am not so close-minded that I cannot bring myself to say that there are no exceptions to the rule; the "rule" being that all of them are quacks in my humble, unqualified opinion. In my book "The Sexual Paraphilias - Therapy by Hick-Farmer Sigmund Freud Wannabes" - you will read about some of the sick bastards that scam the system, pretending to "treat" sexual deviants (some of whom are actually guilty) who were released from prison. These ex-cons are compelled to attend "group therapy" classes as a condition of their parole release, and in a majority of the cases, MEDICAID is picking up the tab, because "on paper", these ex-cons are being treated for alcohol and substance abuse (Medicaid doesn't cover sex-offender therapy).... at least in New York State, that's how it is being done at present writing (2006). When I finally figured out what one of these firms (who shall remain nameless for the moment) was up to, I reported it to the New York State Attorney General's Office - Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. The evidence I presented to them initially, was about 8 Gigabytes of covertly recorded "therapy" sessions, in which the clients who were signed up under their drug abuse program, were actually talking about sex offenses - not that a catharsis on either topic results in any improvement in the client's problem - but this was fraud, cut and dry. The OAG's office was able to substantiate the allegation by comparing the criminal records in the NYSAS system, with the patient records in the OASAS system. The investigation led to several other firms who were similarly scamming the system. Shrinks cannot earn a living anymore, from people who come to them voluntarily. Given a choice between a root canal and a few hours on a shrink's couch, most people who have experienced both, will opt for the dental surgeon... again, with notable exceptions. What I try to do here in this humble little ministry, is to heal people by the grace of the Good Lord, and by the love of Christ extended to brothers and sisters with no strings attached. God called Job "righteous and upright", and "a man who escheweth evil". As Christians, we are "the salt of the Earth". Salt is an irritant; and I don't intend to be a pain in the ass; however, sometimes being a pain in the ass is entirely appropriate, and definitely called for. A man becomes a party to the evils he fails to oppose. Had I ignored what was right in front of me, and NOT become a Confidential Informant, I would have been held accountable at the judgment, which I personally believe is shortly upon us. I am by no means a saint. I am a wicked sinner bound for the flames of Hell and the Lake of Fire just like all of you who are reading this. However, I have a habeas Corpus petition, signed in the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - and His grace is sufficient. The Lord moves in mysterious ways, and ALL things work together for good for those who love the Lord. The truth of the matter is, my friends, that psychology is not only useless; not only WORSE than useless, but is actually harmful to both the individual it is practiced on, and the society at large. Psychology is responsible for both World Wars, numerous genocides, the infanticide of abortion, the drugging of children, and the moral decay of American society, and the turning away from God the entire world is experiencing. PLEASE - don't take my word for it. For those of you of the Catholic faith, you should get the FREE PDF file "Psychiatry and Confession", which is a reproduction of a 1948 pamphlet by The Paulist Press - which outlines the Catholic Church's position on psychiatry, and says that God used "evolution" to create Man. No study on this subject would be complete without obtaining and reading the excellent literature published by Citizen's Commission on Human Rights International. If you spend the time to follow each of the links on THIS page, and read the referenced literature, there will no longer be any doubt (if indeed there WAS any) that what I am telling you is empirical FACT, without any exaggerations or embellishments. The question is that once you know the TRUTH - which is what this Web site is all about.... Once you know.... what the hell is it that you DO with that TERRIBLE knowledge? In Ecclesiastes, King Solomon wrote, ".... in much wisdom there is much grief." Too many people are BLISSFUL in America today! We wallow in our conspicuous consumption while half the world starves.
There is TRUE healing for the lost soul, for the criminal, for the practitioner of ineffective technologies, for the sinner, and for the self-righteous, pompous ass who believes that they have the keys to the human mind and spirit. Sometimes it takes a pain in the ass like me to get them to see the light. I don't like being a pain in the tukis.... I'd much rather be popular and well-liked.... Not that people hate me - some of them hate the message.... Well, kill the messenger, why don't you? That won't change the message. I'm just a vessel.... a vessel of God's love and peace.... at least I TRY to be. Some people make it humanly impossible. They believe that Man is MENTALLY capable of overcoming a SPIRITUAL evil. They are WRONG - and they KNOW they're wrong.... And once they realize they're wrong, they realize that they've spent half their lives and a veritable FORTUNE studying how to be wrong, and therefore they spend an inordinate amount of time ASSERTING that they're right. Scientology calls this phenomenon "asserted rightness". By example, they teach criminals to remain criminals, and become BETTER criminals. The prisons in this country are full of recidivist anti-social behaviors, which is a direct result of turning prisoners into "inmates", and subjecting them to "therapy". Read the referenced materials, and you'll be convinced that my statements here are TRUE.
